Happy New Year Readers!
I know I’m a few days early, but I’m leaving tomorrow to celebrate New Years with my in-laws tomorrow, so now is the time.
I shared my most popular non-fiction articles a couple weeks ago, and now I’d like to share my most popular fiction pieces. The fiction I share here on Substack is a mix of published and unpublished pieces. I found a lot of joy this year sharing my writing with my email list. It’s been fun!
Before I share the list, Daughter of Isis is still on sale for two more days. Get it before the price goes back up!
And so here it is, the Best of 2023!
Marredbury is an early draft series I started this year. It’s a serial Anthology with a through story of immersive found fiction (thank you Sister for your helpful description!) and connected short stories. This first part is a kind of prologue, giving readers a look into what the spooky town of Marredbury is about. Marredbury has been my big project this year and I am thrilled to see that it makes it first on the list!
And there you have it, my top fiction of the year.
Thank you readers for your time. There are so many options you can choose from for your entertainment and I feel so lucky that you take time to read what I have written. I hope you all have an awesome and safe New Years and that 2024 has even more great things coming for you!
P.S. I put up a tree for the first time in a couple years for my daughter. She looks beautiful sitting in front of it. We truly had a fantastic first Christmas with her. While I choose not to share pictures of my daughter through this newsletter, I did want to share an old ornament I got to decorate our tree with.
