I saw your post on the Fictionistas about this story. I really like it! Your writing is really sound on a technical level, your dialogue is lively between the main character and the child. Your prose is clear and concise. The kid's longing for the grandfather is very touching even within his petulant aloofness. Overall, very well done. There's really nothing to change here except to build upon the story, if that's your intention. If so, I'd love to read it!
Great story! And I loved how you interpreted the prompt. Had me hooked from the beginning and I loved the ending. Nice way to tie up the story with a solid beginning/middle/end. I think you did well with the characters, too. Very distinct, and their personalities shone through nicely. Keep up the good work!

Oh, I love this! The kid is so well realised as a character, and I love the sneaky grandfather at the end.
The concept of an app capturing ghosts is wild but also like “yea, i can see that.” Enjoyed reading this story!
