Happy Halloween! 🎃👻
What's more horrifying, Halloween night, or an annual time change with a toddler?
Hi Readers,
Happy belated Halloween! It has been non-stop in my household for the past week. I’m only now managing to sit down and share this email (5 days late at this point, oops!)
I hope you all had wonderful Halloweens. I have renewed joy in the holiday taking my daughter and her cousins trick or treating. It was a successful walk and I have restocked my candy drawer at work for those extra exhausting afternoons.
I am currently writing this email with Winnie the Pooh playing in the background because my daughter is up “early". I put that in quotes because it’s not so early according to her biological clock, but we have “fallen backwards” this past weekend and gained an hour for daylight savings. I used to love that 25 hour Sunday, but that was pre-toddler. Pre-child Reina lived in a different world!
I wanted to give a rundown of the stories I shared on social media last week in honor of the Halloween. The 31st has passed ,but I still want to take an opportunity to scare you all!
But before I move onto my work: this email is brought to you by indie publishing.
wrote a wonderful article in support of indie publishing. She explains why I use the term indie publishing and not self-publishing. A great read:My Halloween Rundown
Enjoy these spooky stories:
Ghost Hunting
I wrote this piece based on the July Fictionistas prompt. The turn around was much quicker than I normally do with posting fiction, feedback is very much welcome!
The Lake House Part 1
The Santos siblings went to the lake for a relaxing escape, but by the end of their trip it’s a race to escape the vacation home with their lives.
And I wouldn’t be supporting myself if I didn’t share my series: Daughter of Isis

Keep it scary, readers!
One last recommendation, a flash fiction story by

Oooh, thanks for sharing the post about Indie Publishing, as well as the spooky stories! 😄
Thanks for being a fellow indie, Reina!
